During a grueling legislative session early this year where money was tight and sleep was elusive, Representative Raymond Ward fought hard to come up with common sense solutions to keep youth service providers in the conversations regarding compensation requirements. It was clear that Rep. Ward understands the complicated system that we work within, and he was a fantastic partner to work with as we tried to push a bill through that would keep COLAs for private providers as an automatic consideration. He deserves all accolades for his efforts to support vulnerable populations in Utah and we are lucky to have him as an advocate for the at-risk youth we serve.
