4 The Youth believes they can make a difference in peoples lives by providing individualized treatment to teach youth and their families the tools they need in order to be successful. 4 The Youth provides outpatient mental health counseling, youth mentoring and early intervention services to individuals and families in Salt Lake, Tooele and Utah Counties. We also provide trained and certified Proctor and Independent Living homes located in Utah, Juab and Salt Lake Counties.

Our mental health therapists are skilled in a variety of EBP including Trauma Focused CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing. Our therapists are also skilled in completing ASAM assessments for substance abuse. Additionally, 4 The Youth provides private outpatient mental health counseling to individuals and families in the community.

4 The Youth was founded in 1996 by Steven Astle LCSW with the goal to make a difference in individuals and their families lives. After working in a variety of institutional settings, Steve started to have a desire to strengthen his own community by working with the youth and their families where he lives. Since then, his daughter, Stephanie Grover, joined 4 The Youth in 2006 to assist in carrying the mission of helping youth and their families heal and become successful.
